Job summary

Naval Sea Systems Command seeks a Budget Officer in Newport, RI, to lead the Division Newport Budget Division (011) within the Comptroller, directing budget planning and financial management with Division leadership and Navy partners.

The role reports to NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV Newport and is aligned with the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project; a Secret clearance is required and telework is eligible where appropriate.

You will serve as a Division Newport Budget Officer, a supervisor and head of the Budget Division (011) within Comptroller of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
