Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures in support of budgeting initiatives and processes for the Singelyn Graduate School of Business (SGSB) and the College's Centers and Institutes.
• Surveys and investigates assigned budget matters, including collecting systemwide, campus-level, and other applicable financial information.
• Conducts basic analysis to support the review of budget requests, including projected revenues and costs, posting of budget data, and ongoing budgetary control of allocations.
• Monitors and reconciles assigned State, Enterprise Foundation, Philanthropic Foundation, grant/contract, and other accounts related to SGSB, Centers, and Institutes.
• Tracks revenues, expenditures, encumbrances, and available balances and assists with revenue and expenditure projections. Prepares information concerning specific phases of budgets and financial procedures and contributes to budget summary reports by completing financial analysis for the Dean, Associate Deans, SGSB, and Center and Institute Directors, as needed.
• Coordinates with the Budget Analyst II on assigned budget activities, reconciliations, reporting, and discrepancies. Provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders and performs assigned budget activities in accordance with established procedures. Approximately 20% of this responsibility supports designated College of Business Administration Dean's Office budget activities.
