Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• 2+ years budgeting/financial analysis experience (preferred).
• Higher education budgeting experience (preferred).
• Experience with Ellucian Colleague reporting tools (preferred).
• Experience with forecasting and financial modeling (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and administration of the College's annual operating and capital budgets.
• Monitor budget-to-actual activity and analyze variances, trends, and financial issues.
• Prepare budget reports, forecasts, and financial projections for managers and leadership.
• Assist departments with Zero Based Budget development and related questions.
• Review budget requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and maintain documentation for budget adjustments and reallocations.
• Support personnel budgeting and salary/benefit cost analyses.
• Develop and maintain budget models, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Business Office to align budget with actual activity.
• Prepare budget materials for leadership and the Board of Trustees.
• Assist with budget process improvements and special projects.
