The incumbent will load budgets, perform transfers, and conduct ad hoc budget analyses, while maintaining documentation and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 15 semester hours in accounting-related courses and two years of related experience.
• Proficient Excel skills and budget management knowledge.
• Understanding of budgeting principles and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Review hiring proposals and verify funding in Banner Finance.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll to resolve payroll issues.
• Manage positions including labor distribution coding and funding new positions.
• Process encumbrance liquidations and maintain rosters.
• Load budgets and complete budget transfers; enter course and lab fees.
• Ad hoc budget research and documentation; support overspent budget resolutions.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects and communicate budget updates.
