Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to support a Homeland Security client in Washington, D.C. Successful candidates demonstrate competency in project execution, critical thinking, and customer service while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all programming, planning, budget, and execution actions, including preparation of purchase requests, inter-agency agreements, and processing obligations after award.
  • Prepare status reports on obligations, outstanding commitments, spend plans, and related briefings, along with budget exhibits.
  • Coordinate execution and tracking of funds for acquisition workforce training.
  • Enter data into government resource management systems.
Qualifications
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of federal budget execution experience.
  • Experience working with the Treasury G-Invoicing tool.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, able to adapt to changing priorities and manage shifting work efforts.

Target salary range: $90,000 - $130,000. Final compensation will be determined by skills, experience, education, and certifications. Salaries are influenced by location, internal equity, client requirements, and candidate qualifications.
