Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in Oklahoma City is seeking a Budget Analyst to plan, organize, and coordinate complex budgetary and financial operations. About the Position
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and performing complex budgetary and financial operations. It oversees the formulation of budget requests and operating budgets, works closely with program directors to assess and address budgetary needs, and manages assigned operating budgets. The role includes completing surveys and studies to determine state agency fiscal requirements for assigned divisions, conducting research on legislation, and preparing fiscal information for legislative appropriation and substantive bills. Additionally, it involves accumulating and analyzing various budgetary, income, and expenditure data to prepare budget-to-actual and other financial reports, as well as maintaining data on budgetary systems and financial programs for assigned programs and divisions.
