Job summary

Tulip Interfaces is seeking a technically skilled Customer Support Engineer to join a fast-paced team in Budapest. You will act as the frontline contact for customers, educate on product usage, diagnose issues, and collaborate with software, hardware, and other teams to resolve problems.

In addition to strong English communication, you will work with APIs, databases, cloud hosting, and AI tools, while participating in on-call rotations for critical issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs/HTTP and shell scripting (MacOS/UNIX).
• Exposure to SQL (PostgreSQL) and MongoDB databases.
• Experience in manufacturing or biotech/pharma is a plus.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk).
• Fluent English, strong written and oral communication.
• Curiosity about AI/LLMs and customer support usage.

Responsibilities

• Act as frontline contact for customers, providing timely, accurate responses.
• Educate customers on product usage and features.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with cross-functional teams.
• Escalate complex cases and manage workload visibility.
• Improve support processes and expand knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including nights/weekends for critical issues.
