Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment like bucket trucks or similar gear.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and safe removal techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bucket truck to access tree canopies and perform trimming, pruning, and removal work.
• Collaborate with the ground crew to assess work requirements and determine the most efficient approach.
• Inspect and maintain the bucket truck and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Trim or remove tree limbs and branches with care for surrounding property and vegetation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure safe execution of tasks.
• Safely lower or cut down limbs, branches, or entire trees using proper techniques and equipment.
• Assist in site cleanup and proper disposal or recycling of debris.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
