Job summary

Riggs Tree Service, LLC. seeks a Bucket Trimmer to safely operate bucket trucks for trimming, pruning, and removal tasks. You will work with a team to ensure projects meet client and utility standards while maintaining safety near electrical hazards.

Responsibilities include trimming trees, clearing debris, and assisting ground crew. Applicants should have experience with bucket trucks and strong safety awareness; CDL recommended and physical fitness required.

Qualifications

• Experience in bucket truck operation and tree trimming.
• Valid driver's license; CDL recommended for larger trucks.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work at height.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; good physical condition.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bucket trucks safely and efficiently.
• Trim, prune, and remove trees per specs.
• Maintain a safe working environment near power lines.
• Clear debris and feed to wood chipper.
• Assist ground crew with site prep and debris removal.
• Communicate effectively with crew, supervisors, clients.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and report issues.
• Follow instructions and safety regulations.
• Participate in safety briefings and training.
• Perform bucket rescue when necessary (training provided).
