Job summary

West Tree Service is seeking a Bucket Operator to safely operate a bucket truck and perform trimming, pruning, and removal for residential and commercial clients.

The role requires working at heights, coordinating with the ground crew, and maintaining equipment safely. A valid driver's license is required, CDL preferred, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds in varied weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a bucket truck or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of tree care practices, pruning, trimming, and safe removal techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bucket truck to access tree canopies and perform trimming, pruning, and removal work.
• Collaborate with the ground crew to assess work requirements and determine the most efficient approach.
• Inspect and maintain the bucket truck and related equipment for safe operation.
• Trim or remove limbs and branches with minimal impact to property and vegetation.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure safety.
