Job summary

West Tree Service is seeking a Bucket Operator to safely operate a bucket truck for tree trimming, pruning, and removal for residential and commercial clients in Drumright, OK. The role involves working at heights, collaborating with crews, and maintaining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bucket truck operation experience preferred.
Knowledge of pruning, trimming, and safe removal techniques.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Follow safety protocols, PPE, and OSHA regulations.
Team oriented environment.
CDL preferred or valid driver’s license.
Physically able to lift 70 pounds and work in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bucket truck to access tree canopies and perform trimming, pruning, and removal work.
Collaborate with ground crew to assess work requirements and plan approach.
Inspect and maintain the bucket truck and equipment for safety and proper functioning.
Trim or remove branches with care to minimize property impact.
Communicate with team members to coordinate activities and safety.
Lower or cut limbs using proper techniques and equipment.
Assist in site cleanup and proper disposal of debris.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
