Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in General Education or related field.
• Four years of teaching experience in a public school setting.
• Experience in planning and delivering professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with new and beginning teachers, mentors, and school administrators to identify gaps in support.
• Informally observe and mentor beginning teachers to provide feedback on curriculum, instruction, and classroom management.
• Develop and implement differentiated support plans including orientation, induction, mentoring, coaching, and professional learning.
• Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of training and its impact on instructional process and student achievement.
• Assist with implementation and oversight of evaluation and licensure systems.
