Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Royal Oak, MI. Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, following BCBA-designed plans, and track progress in real time across clinic or home settings.

We offer RBT certification support, mileage reimbursement for in-home services, and a clear path to BCBA mentorship. Local caseloads minimize commuting and enhance work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Must hold RBT certification or be preparing to obtain it (we’ll help!).
• Pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by supervising BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
• Accurately track data and progress in real-time.
• Provide support in both structured settings and natural environments.
• Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.
