Job summary

Pediatrics Plus in Oklahoma seeks compassionate Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with special needs through evidence-based therapies. Under the close supervision of a BCBA, BT/RBTs implement behavior plans, prepare materials, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete 40 hours of paid training under supervision by BCBA within 90 days of hire.
• Pass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA.
• Pass the RBT exam through BACB to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Help implement the treatment plan developed by the BCBA, parents, and therapists.
• Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA.
• Prepare materials as needed for sessions.
• Implement appropriate teaching procedures determined by supervising BCBA.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and child confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and supervisees in a professional manner.
