Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, ID is seeking a Nurse Resource Team (NRT) float RN to cover nights on a 12-hour shift. You will care for diverse patient populations across units, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and promote safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a BSN, Idaho RN license or compact, and BLS certification, with strong time management and adaptability across behavioral health, youth acute, addiction recovery, and medical-surgical settings.

Qualificações

• BSN required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program.
• State of Idaho RN license or licensure pending via temporary licensure or multistate compact.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for an assigned patient population in a variety of care areas.
• Assists physician during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-care to patient and family.
• Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
• Familiar with standards of care and procedures within the NRT Float Group 1 role.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
• Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned.
• Upholds patient safety and quality care standards.
• Utilizes nursing process and interprofessional teamwork to optimize outcomes.
