Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking an Assistant Dean for the BSN Program to lead nursing education at our Reno campus. This role oversees program development, clinical partnerships, curriculum delivery, accreditation readiness, and student success.

You will supervise faculty and staff, manage the program budget, coordinate admissions and orientation, and ensure compliance with Board rules. A master’s degree and RN licensure are required, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state where the campus is located.
• Master’s degree or higher in nursing, education or administration.
• Two years of administrative experience.
• Two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
• RN with direct patient care experience or equivalent as determined by the Board.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation and evaluation of the nursing program activities.
• Manage RN program budget, faculty, staff, and clinical site liaison.
• Ensure curriculum development, program policies, and Board compliance.
• Develop articulation agreements with nearby colleges for transfers to Eagle Gate, Provo, and Unitek College nursing programs.
• Coordinate admission process, orientation and student records; advise and support nursing students.
