Unitek Learning is seeking a nursing faculty member in Layton, Utah. The role emphasizes clinical teaching, student assessment, and program development within our nursing programs.

The candidate will hold an active RN license in Utah and a Master of Nursing or higher with coursework in nursing or education. Four years of direct patient care experience and clinical teaching ability are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for active RN license in Utah.
• Master of Nursing or higher with coursework in nursing or education/administration.
• At least four years of direct patient care as an RN.
• Clinical teaching experience in last five years is a plus.
• Expertise in one nursing area: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn or Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
• Ensure class attendance and grades are recorded and submitted.
• Assist with program assessment and strategic planning for instructional initiatives.
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
• Use adult-learning principles in teaching and adapt to online/interactive formats.
• Maintain student records and program data; submit reports timely.
• Stay current with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in nursing program committee activities and faculty meetings.
