Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing is looking for a BSN prepared Nurse for a full-time Clinical Faculty role at our Akron Campus!

Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting, promote a positive learning environment, plan the student clinical experience, supervise and orient students to the site, and evaluate progress with feedback. Opportunity for education benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years of full-time RN experience.
• Active Ohio RN license not encumbered.
• Official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and ensure full instruction of the clinical curriculum.
• Create high student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress with feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Ohio RN license

American Heart Association BLS certification
