Verve, a Credit Union, is seeking a BSA Specialist to join its Risk Management team in Oshkosh, WI. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risk by handling BSA reporting and investigations.

You will analyze alerts, gather documentation, and support SAR filings while maintaining due diligence on high-risk business relationships and ensuring CIP completeness in new accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
• Three or more years of previous experience in the financial industry.
• Related work experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) reporting for the credit union.
• Investigate and gather supporting documentation for SAR filings.
• Maintain a strict schedule for Enhanced Due Diligence on high-risk business relationships.
• Document Customer Due Diligence (CDD) in Verafin with detailed business descriptions.
• Assist in reviewing newly opened business accounts for CIP completeness.
• Report any exact OFAC matches to the Compliance Officer immediately.
