Job summary

Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a dedicated BSA/AML Team Leader to manage the day-to-day AML/BSA tasks, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate reporting, audits, and system enhancements while acting as a liaison to auditors and bank management.

The role is onsite at the Newtown, CT corporate office with a remote option of one day per week; a strong leadership background in AML is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years banking experience.
• Previous experience in BSA/AML required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day BSA/AML tasks and staff performance.
• Prepare and review CTRs, SARs and related reporting.
• Coordinate audits/exams and respond to regulator requests.
• Oversee KPI reporting and internal controls for BSA/AML programs.
• Lead system parameter updates and testing for AML software.
