Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Agile Product Owner to translate business needs into actionable user stories for delivery teams. You will collaborate with sponsors, IT, and QA to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and align with product roadmaps.

The role requires a strong background in process improvement, project delivery, and requirements analysis, with SAFe certifications preferred. Onsite work expected with flexible collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or business operations/product line.
• SAFe Practitioner certification or SAFe Agilist or SAFe Product Owner/Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to define and document relevant business processes, understanding needs, measures, risks and controls for the improvement area.
• Validates business strategy and vision with management and stakeholders.
• Assists with project level plans related to schedule, scope and resources.
• Works independently on small to medium complexity efforts or with a Senior/Lead on larger efforts.
• Identifies, assesses, tracks and mitigates issues and risks at multiple levels.
• Participates in validation and testing of features before end user acceptance.
• Provides just-in-time story elaboration to designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others for alignment with roadmaps.
• Maintains a prioritized backlog and provides business guidance for the execution team.
