Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Agile Product Owner to bridge business and IT, eliciting and refining needs so delivery teams can build effective solutions. You will define processes, validate strategy, and maintain a prioritized backlog to align with program roadmaps.

You will partner with sponsors and stakeholders, guide requirements, ensure acceptance criteria are met, and support validation and testing of features. On-site work is expected in the Birmingham, AL/Atlanta, GA/Charlotte, NC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field and 5+ years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, or business analysis.
• SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Product Owner/Manager certification is preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and communication skills.
• Lead intake and prioritization of development work aligned to business goals.
• Familiarity with sanctions screening platforms and large-scale transformations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sponsors, stakeholders and IT to document business processes and risks.
• Understand and validate business strategy, vision and customer needs.
• Assist with project plans for schedule, scope and resources.
• Provide just-in-time story elaboration to designers, developers, and testers.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog and guide the execution team.
• Review and prioritize stakeholder feedback and acceptance criteria.
