Job summary

Weiler-Abrasives-Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate our semi-automatic press machines and to grow across brush and abrasive product making skills.

You will join a team that values safety, reliability and teamwork, with opportunities to advance into set-up or maintenance roles; training and benefits including a 401k match, medical and life insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs regularly and stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to speak and read in English.
• Basic measurement skills.
• Able to wear safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection.
• High School or better.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automatic press machines and learn brush & abrasive product making skills across departments.
• Learn and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Potential to move into more advanced manufacturing roles such as set-up technician or maintenance.

Pay rates for night shift vary based on experience. We provide all training. Those that bring similar manufacturing skills from prior jobs have the opportunity to start at a higher wage. You can earn an extra $1.00/hour for each pay period that you attain perfect attendance and there is a $2.00 shift differential for this shift.

11:30 PM-7:30 AM Sunday Start.
