Job summary

Weiler-Abrasives-Group is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to begin by learning our press operations and brush & abrasive product making processes. You will train across departments, with potential to advance into set-up or maintenance roles as you grow.

Qualifications

• Basic measurement skills required.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs regularly and stand for a full 8‑hour shift.
• Able to wear safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automatic press machines and learn brushing and abrasive product making skills.
• Learn and apply manufacturing processes across departments; opportunities to advance to set-up or maintenance roles.
• Participate in training and education assistance programs to grow your skills.
• Support a clean, safe work environment and quality standards.

Pay rates for evening shift vary based on experience. We provide all training. Those that bring similar manufacturing skills from prior jobs have the opportunity to start at a higher wage. You can earn an extra $1.00/hour for each pay period that you attain perfect attendance.
