Bourbon & Bones – Square One Concepts is seeking a reliable Saute Cook to join our brunch team. You will prepare sautéed dishes with precision, manage mise en place, and help drive quality and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of brunch or fine-dining experience, strong knife skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. A culinary degree or apprenticeship is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in brunch or fine dining kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of sauté techniques and pan sauces.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with diverse ingredients.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced service.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local health codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook sautéed dishes with precision and presentation.
• Manage mise en place for the sauté station and stock ingredients.
• Monitor temperatures, times, and portion sizes.
• Execute recipes with attention to texture, color, and plating.
• Coordinate with brigade for timely service of hot plates.
• Maintain clean, sanitized workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Operate sauté pans, woks, and stock pots safely.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
