Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a reliable Saute Cook to join Bourbon & Bones for our brunch service. You will craft sautéed dishes with focus on flavor, texture, and presentation, while maintaining high standards and speed in a busy kitchen.

You will manage mise en place, assist with menu development, and work closely with the brigade to ensure timely service. Health and safety compliance is required throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of brunch cook or similar experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Food safety knowledge and sanitation best practices.
• Brunch cuisine knowledge including classic and contemporary dishes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook sautéed dishes with precision and presentation.
• Manage mise en place for the sauté station, including stocking and labeling ingredients.
• Monitor temperatures, cooking times, and portion sizes.
• Coordinate service with the brigade for timely hot plates.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with fish, poultry, meat, and vegetarian prep as needed.
• Restock station during service and communicate shortages to the Sous Chef.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
• Ensure proper portion control and waste management.
• Adhere to health regulations and company policies.
