The role involves teamwork, menu development input, and adherence to food safety guidelines. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in brunch or fine-dining settings, strong sauté and knife skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a brunch cook or similar in a fine-dining setting preferred.
• Knowledge of brunch cuisine, classic and contemporary.
• Food safety knowledge and sanitation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook sautéed dishes with precision and flavor.
• Manage mise en place for the sauté station.
• Monitor temperatures, cooking times and portions.
• Coordinate service with the brigade for timely plating.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with menu development and daily specials.
