Qualifications

• Requires 5–10 years in environmental consulting, contaminated-site investigation, remediation, or brownfield redevelopment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations for contaminated sites, brownfields, and hazardous substances.
• Experience preparing Phase I and II ESAs, remedial action plans, regulatory reports, and client-ready docs.
• Excellent writing, communication, organization, and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigation, remediation, and brownfield redevelopment projects including scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs, site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, vapor intrusion evaluations, and remedial investigations.
• Develop and implement remedial strategies for soil/groundwater including excavation, in-situ treatment, monitored natural attenuation, and controls.
• Prepare and review work plans, sampling plans, health and safety plans, QA/QP plans, and regulatory submittals.
• Coordinate field activities with drilling contractors, labs, surveyors, and subcontractors.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
• Support business development through proposals, cost estimates, and grant-supported assessments.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a safety-focused, quality-driven delivery culture.
