Job summary

Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber is seeking a Brownfield Redevelopment Project Manager in Farmington Hills, MI. You will lead Brownfield redevelopment projects from inception through completion, coordinating with clients, developers, municipalities, and environmental professionals.

The role requires site characterization, risk assessment, environmental planning, and compliance documentation, with strong public speaking and stakeholder engagement abilities. Hybrid schedule available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or related field; applicable experience may substitute.
• Certified Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer is a plus.
• Experience supervising environmental projects; Brownfield redevelopment preferred.
• Knowledge of Due Care Obligations under NR and EPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Brownfield Redevelopment projects from inception through completion (6–24 months typical).
• Lead site characterization, risk assessment, redevelopment planning, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, developers, and partners to execute project plans.
• Develop Health and Safety Plans, sampling plans, and Act 381 work plans; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and support public speaking and engagement.
