Job summary

Fishbeck in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Brownfield Redevelopment Project Manager to lead complex Brownfield projects from inception through completion. You will coordinate with clients, municipalities, and environmental teams, driving environmental planning and compliance tasks.

The role requires public speaking and stakeholder engagement, along with developing plans, budgets, and schedules. A relevant geoscience degree and 2+ years of Brownfield experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification (P.G./PE) is a plus.
• 2+ years environmental project experience; Brownfield experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act obligations.
• Expertise in site characterization, exposure-pathway evaluation, and sampling strategies.
• Ability to prepare HSE-related plans and compliance documents.
• Ability to work indoors and accommodate reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Brownfield projects from inception to completion.
• Lead technical work on site characterization, risk assessment, and planning.
• Coordinate with clients, Fishbeck teams, developers, municipalities, and partners.
• Develop Health and Safety Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, and related docs.
• Prepare and submit Due Care, Monitoring and Act 381 work plans, and grant/loan plans.
• Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders; support public engagement.
• Stay current on regulations, standards, and best practices.
