AB + Construction & Development is seeking a Site Superintendent for a full-time on-site role in Brooklyn, NY. You will oversee daily construction activities, enforce safety, and ensure quality and adherence to plans and codes.

The role requires coordinating with supervisors and subcontractors, verifying equipment and material usage, and supporting scheduling and budgeting. Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and OSHA 30 certification are advantageous.

Formación

• Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Experience with inspections, identifying hazards and safety violations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and scheduling.
• Knowledge of budgeting tasks and cost tracking.
• Experience as a competent person or foreperson on construction sites, preferably urban/high-rise.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC building/safety codes; OSHA 30 certification beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with ability to give clear instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily construction activities with focus on safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Identify hazards, conduct site inspections, and ensure crews follow approved plans and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors; verify equipment and materials usage.
• Support scheduling and basic budgeting; document site conditions and incidents.
• Report project status and issues to management to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
