Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services seeks an energetic Residence Manager to oversee a residential program for adults with I/DD. The role combines administrative and clinical duties to ensure residents receive high-quality care, safety, and well-being.

You will supervise an interdisciplinary team, coordinate with families and providers, and manage documentation and regulatory compliance within a 24-hour support setting. Based in Brooklyn with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid NY or NJ driver’s license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a residential program serving adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Supervise an interdisciplinary team and ensure 24-hour support and supervision.
• Coordinate services with families, day program staff, medical providers, and agency supervisors to promote quality of care.
• Maintain the physical plant and ensure safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
