Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services seeks an energetic Residence Manager to oversee a residential program for adults with I/DD. The role combines administrative and clinical duties to ensure residents receive high-quality care, safety, and well-being.

You will supervise an interdisciplinary team, coordinate with families and providers, and manage documentation and regulatory compliance within a 24-hour support setting. Based in Brooklyn with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid NY or NJ driver’s license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities.

Job description

Ohel is seeking an energetic Residence Manager to oversee a residential program serving adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The ideal candidate is a compassionate, people-oriented leader who can effectively manage a team providing 24-hour support and supervision.

The Residence Manager will play a dual administrative and clinical role, ensuring the overall well-being and safety of the individuals residing in the program. Responsibilities include overseeing the physical, emotional, and medical care of residents; maintaining the physical plant of the home; ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulations; and supervising an interdisciplinary team.

The Residence Manager will work closely with individuals and their families, day program staff, medical providers, agency supervisors, and other colleagues to coordinate services and promote the highest quality of care.

Salary: $66,350
