Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Special Education.
• At least five years of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• New York State Permanent Certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• New York State Permanent Certification as a School Administrator and Supervisor.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all program components for children served.
• Oversee daily operation of education, clinical, clerical and maintenance activities.
• Prepare program reports and budget forecasts.
• Develop and monitor program budget and approvals.
• Coordinate with parents and school districts on placements and communication.
• Implement and update program policies and procedures.
