Tyson Foods is hiring a Brood House Worker at the Tennessee Pedigree Complex in Deer Lodge, TN. You will care for birds in the brood house, following schedules for feeding, cleaning, weighing, and record-keeping as part of daily duties.

The role requires physical stamina, biosecurity compliance, and the ability to work shifts (Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed), with exposure to varied farm conditions. Benefits start on day one and include health, PTO, and perks.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major employment gaps in the past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria with a minimum waiting period of 180 days, and no more than 3 rehires at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsabilités

• Feed and water birds according to schedules (30%).
• Walk floors daily, inspect birds for illness and treat as directed; dispose of mortality (20%).
• Place pen partitions according to weight/source; segregate birds by line and age (20%).
• Clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform routine housekeeping; repair feeders, waterers, lights, fans (10%).
• Record information such as genealogy, bird weight, medications, feed intake, and mortality (10%).
