Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's University Behavioral Associates (UBA) in the Bronx seeks an Outreach Specialist to recruit, engage, and enroll fathers and families into HERO Dads, a federally funded program designed to support father-child relationships and economic stability.

You will build partnerships across the Bronx, manage digital outreach, and track enrollment data while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to meet targets and support participants facing barriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; in Social Work, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse communities with cultural humility.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment when assessing participant circumstances and developing individualized engagement strategies.
• Experience with Facebook and/or Instagram for outreach or digital recruitment preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required.
• Must be available to work some evenings and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage and enroll HERO Dads participants through in-person and digital channels.
• Build relationships with community partners across the Bronx.
• Maintain enrollment data in program databases and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to align services and communicate participant updates.
• Attend team meetings, supervision, and trainings.
• Support continuous quality improvement with timely data.
