Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a client/account servicing professional for the Brokerage Service Group. You will answer inbound calls and process wires, transfers, and account actions while ensuring timely, accurate service.

Candidates should have a college degree, FINRA registrations or willingness, and strong communication skills; knowledge of the investment industry and MS Office; contribute to risk controls and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• A College or University degree and/or relevant financial services work experience.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 or 66 registrations or willingness to acquire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Security/investment industry knowledge is required.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical skills including Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls to the Brokerage Service Group service center.
• Executes client account servicing tasks such as wires, fund transfers, cash movement, and account opening/closing.
• Develops understanding of steps involved and coordinates with operations teams as needed.
• Adheres to risk management and compliance policies; promptly escalate issues.
• Gains knowledge of business applications and online tools used for servicing.
• Identifies opportunities to improve service efficiency and processes.
• Assists with new partner onboarding.
