Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations in Brokerage to lead and grow our branch brokerage products. The role centers on strategic development, customer growth, and strong operational leadership to deliver efficient, compliant brokerage services across North America.

You will drive P&L performance, mentor sales and operations teams, and partner with customers to design new offerings aligned with business goals. A dynamic, results-driven leader will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in operations for a carrier, freight forwarder/NVO and/or consolidator/Third-Party Logistics (3PL) organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all types of brokerage services in the branch.
• Meet or exceed established business and profit growth targets; remain accountable for product P&L at the branch level.
• Establish and ensure operational implementation and compliance with processes and procedures for handling the freight product.
• Maintain strategic relationships with vendors, including pricing and service standards; coordinate with the vendor base to ensure compliance with RXO goals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist Sales in developing new customers in the market and onboarding those customers to operations.
• Develop and implement new product and service offerings to meet customer needs.
• Direct, develop and train sales and operations teams to ensure KPIs are met.
