Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Brokerage Operations Intern for its Chicago, IL office to gain hands‑on experience across trading, clearing, and customer experience. You’ll work with data, risk management, and process improvement on real projects.

You’ll learn analytics, automation, and BI dashboards using Retool or Superset, deliver a capstone project to senior leaders, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. In‑person attendance is expected at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full‑time bachelor’s or master’s program with expected graduation Winter 2027/Spring 2028.
• Experience performing analytics using SQL or Python.
• Curious about how brokerage operations, risk management, and market infrastructure work in fintech.
• Strong communication and ability to engage with cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrates intellectual agility and critical thinking about processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Robinhood Financial and Robinhood Securities to learn operations of FINRA‑registered broker‑dealers.
• Analyze operational data, identify efficiency opportunities, and suggest process improvements (including automation and dashboards).
• Support small‑scale technical projects like data reconciliation, data quality improvements, or BI dashboards using Retool or Superset.
• Deliver a capstone project applying analytical skills to a real operational challenge and present to senior leaders.
