Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a broker support specialist to respond to inquiries, assist with enrollment, billing, and portal troubleshooting. You will coordinate with internal teams and support Account Managers at broker meetings and events.

The role focuses on maintaining relationships with brokers, producing reports, and staying current with plan changes and HIPAA-related regulations. A strong customer-service background in health insurance is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years of customer service and/or sales/account management support experience in health insurance preferred.
• Ohio Dept. of Insurance License (Health & Life) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to broker inquiries via phone and e-mail regarding enrollment, billing/refunds, broker portal troubleshooting, marketing materials, plan benefits, claims.
• Develops and maintains relationships with brokers to achieve retention targets and service objectives.
• Collaborates with Account Manager and attends external sales meetings with broker agencies and internal meetings.
• Generates and distributes reports from broker portal and other systems to brokers.
