Who We Are:

Broker Services is a central source of customer service for brokers doing business with AIG.
What We Do:
We minimized the need of underwriter involvement in policy related servicing issues by providing inbound contact center services. Our staff is uniquely positioned to provide brokers with personal service and help resolve a policy related problem.
Position Responsibilities:
As an AIG Broker Services Representative, you will use your excellent communication and customer service skills to provide insurance brokers with account information, respond to inquiries and solve broker's policy related issues. In this position you get to work with some exceptional people; all committed to providing the very best in customer service. The position's responsibilities include handling inbound phone calls, web chats and e-mails from brokers, insureds, underwriters, and AIG field sales personnel in a contact center environment. Support involves:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve policy and endorsement related production issues.
  • Provide brokers web site access and navigational support.
  • Answer Billing and Collections inquiries from brokers.
  • Provide brokers with general product information.
  • Additional special projects as required.
Position Requirements:
  • Proven experience in customer service or support roles, preferably within a multi-channel environment.
  • Strong understanding of web-based systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues independently and escalate appropriately.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations, identify problems, and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Dependable and proactive, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must have the ability to resolve conflict and customer complaints, as well as communicate directly with customers in a professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance products and principles preferred, but not required
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
