Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $95,500.00/yr

Are you passionate about contributing to the well-being of the Medicare population? Would you like to play an integral and strategic part in the overall success of a team? If so, the Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for managing all available resources to help achieve sales growth, improve results and drive operational goals within the assigned market while also helping to coordinate on a national level. You will maintain and support all Partner Broker field sales within the market (Individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners). In this role, you will also develop local market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Market Director, local market offices, Broker Relationship Executives and Account Executives, including all sales support. The BRM is responsible for hosting & coordinating (in cooperation with the local market team) all training opportunities for Broker Partners in the market, along with virtual/remote webinars etc. You will also work closely with Broker Relationship Executives and other BRM’s to support national and regional Partners to ensure there is a consistent Broker experience throughout all markets.

Required Qualifications

  • You must possess an active OH resident Health insurance license OR willing AND able to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Medicare industry with a focus on management OR leadership (formal or informal).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build and maintain relationships with communities and medical providers.
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry
  • Prior experience with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • This position requires approximately 50% or more travel with some overnight stays
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a clear and valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. We will also run a Motor Vehicle Report for this position.
  • Must reside inor be willing to relocate to COLUMBUS, OHIO

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$70,000 - $95,500 per year

This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
