Job summary

Southern California True Benefit, an Amwins Group company, seeks a Broker Relationship Consultant to support the ADP TotalSource broker channel in Southern California. The role focuses on building relationships with priority retail brokerages, educating producers, and coordinating with underwriting for case strategies.

Based in the Greater Los Angeles area with some travel to San Diego and Arizona, the candidate will influence growth through expertise and broker credibility without a traditional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7+ years in employee benefits, retail brokerage, or related fields.
• Experience building relationships with retail employee benefits firms and producers.
• Knowledge of fully insured and level-funded plans; self-funded basics.
• Strong consultative, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to influence results without a traditional sales quota.
• Active Life and Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with priority retail brokerage firms, benefits consultants, and producers.
• Educate producers within established firms on the ADP TotalSource value proposition.
• Understand broker priorities and advocate for both broker and ADP seller.
• Partner with ADP Broker District Managers and join the sales process when appropriate.
• Support case strategy, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and underwriting coordination.
• Participate in broker, employer, and ADP meetings to advance opportunities.
• Differentiate ADP TotalSource from other market options and share insights.
• Coordinate with underwriting and True Benefit stakeholders to support growth.
• Maintain follow-through and represent True Benefit and Amwins at market events.
