YOUR CHALLENGE

• This position is in New York City. Qualified candidates must be able to commute to the job site.
• You will be part of a team that delivers cutting‑edge IP‑based SMPTE 2110 broadcast infrastructure projects.

YOUR TASKS

• Projects and commissioning, focus on IP media infrastructure projects
• Commissioning and configuration of delivered products on‑site at customer locations
• After‑sales support
• Technical troubleshooting (remote/on‑site)
• Close collaboration with the Lawo headquarters in Germany
• Pre‑sales support
• Technical consulting, conceptual design
• Configurations & programming
• Other duties as assigned

YOUR PROFILE

• Education in broadcast, audio, electrical engineering or a related field is required
• Experience in the broadcast environment, with a focus on engineering
• Experience with IP projects, specifically SMPTE 2110 networking expertise with respect to Layer 3 environments and multicast workflow
• Passion for new technology
• Structured way of working and problem‑solving ability driven by delivering service excellence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Readiness for international travel
• Ability to work alone with little or no supervision
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Moderately proficient with Python, Linux and Kubernetes
• Experience in Docker and Ansible is preferred
