Job summary

Phaxis - Technology is seeking a Broadcast Operations Assistant to be fully onsite in Centennial, CO for a 6-month contract. Applicants must be open to any shift, including weekends and nights.

You will support the on-air operations team during the division's major systems migration in 2026, handle programming quality control, rehearsals, event prep, and break support. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and a relevant certification or an Associate's Degree in Media or Communications,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent in media or communications.
• Certification or Associate's Degree in Media/Communications preferred.
• Experience in broadcast, digital, or post production is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists; execute program changes and support live-event workflows.
• Own commercial integration and manage rolling of commercial breaks during live and taped programming.

Responsibilities:

• Support current on-air operations team during the division's major systems migration in 2026. This support would include, but not limited to, programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, shadowing on-air programming, monitoring on-air programming, and break support.


• Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live-event and contingency workflows.


• Take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming.

Basic Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role.


• A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.
