Job summary

Broadcast Management Group in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Broadcast Systems Sales Engineer to own the end-to-end pre-sales process for system design and integration projects. You will interact with prospects, design solutions, and prepare BOMs that underpin proposals.

You will work closely with the sales team and engineering, serving as the bridge between client needs and engineering output. This role leverages AI for research, scoping, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in technical pre-sales, systems integration, or broadcast engineering.
• Experience with IP video (SMPTE ST 2110), SDI routing, RF transmission, encoding/streaming, playout automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end pre-sales process from initial technical conversation through final proposal.
• Engage directly with prospects pre-sales to discuss technical needs and advise on complex broadcast systems.
• Design custom workflows and equipment configurations.
• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and run POC tests.
• Build bills of materials (BOMs), respond to RFPs, and provide price quotes.
• Foster trust with engineers and media networks.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to align solutions, scope, and pricing.
