Job summary
Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, Florida, seeks a Chief Engineer to organize, plan, manage, document, and execute assignments in a demanding live broadcast environment. You will oversee studio and field equipment, monitor multiple air channels, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise the technical staff to deliver high-quality on-air content.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of studio, SNG and ENG broadcast operations experience.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Budgeting and capital planning experience.
- Military experience will be considered.
- Computer literacy is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all studio and field equipment.
- Supervision of the daily operation of the station.
- Supervise technical and operational staff.
- Oversight of IT integrity and infrastructure.
- Maintain transmitter, satellite antenna systems, signal distribution and routing systems.
- Exhibits working knowledge of television maintenance as well as FCC requirements and licensing.
- Has ability to adapt to multiple priorities.
