Job summary

The Broadcast Systems Engineer at IMSP in Indianapolis will manage operation, upkeep, and performance of control and technical rooms, delivering smooth production operations. You will lead the technical crew on-site, coordinating with engineers for streaming and remote sites to ensure high-quality fan and partner experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineer in Charge of mobile units or large-scale remote productions.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast video production theory and practice.
• Familiarity with 2110 standards and applications.
• Proficiency with test equipment including meters, waveform monitors, vector scopes, spectrum analyzers, and computer interfaces.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, industry standards, codes, and policies for broadcast/remote TV production.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the control and tech rooms; ensure systems are operational.
• Install, maintain, and repair all broadcast systems.
• QC audio, video, and data signals from remote sites.
• Lead on-site technical crew during events.
• Provide timely technical reports within 24 hours after events.
• Coordinate with transmission engineers for streaming equipment.
