UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA’s AZPM division is seeking a part‑time Broadcast and Network Operations Technician to monitor radio, TV and IP transmissions in a 24x7 environment.
You will perform daily traffic checks, monitor systems for outages, ensure FCC compliance, and coordinate with IT/Engineering as needed while maintaining logs and supporting disaster recovery efforts.
Position Highlights AZPM is looking for a part time candidate to join the broadcast and network operations team. This role is key to monitoring all incoming and outgoing Radio, TV and IP transmissions. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, an understanding of signal flow and quality motioning of signals and content in a 24x7 broadcast or network environment. Knowledge of FCC regulation and IT best practices is preferred. Experience with broadcast traffic and automation systems or network operations centers is important.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
