The University of Arizona’s University Information Technology Services (UITS) is seeking an IT Architect to manage Proxmox virtualization, Ceph storage, and networking for the College of Information Science Cybersecurity Learning Environment. This hybrid role is based at the Tucson Campus with on-site work two days per week.
Responsibilities include infrastructure operations, virtualization, storage management, security hardening, and collaboration with campus IT services.

The IT Cyber Range Architect III (IT Architect III) operates and maintains the physical Proxmox cluster, storage systems, and networking infrastructure supporting the University of Arizona's College of Information Science Cybersecurity Learning Environment. This position manages the hardware lifecycle, ensures system availability and performance, maintains security boundaries between student and administrative environments, and coordinates infrastructure improvements with campus IT services. This role focuses on infrastructure operations, virtualization, storage, and networking systems.
This is a hybrid position based at the University of Arizona Tucson Campus and requires on-site work two days per week.

As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
